Enhancements and Integrations

New Pershing APIs

We have upgraded the current Pershing API offering to their newest version of the REST API. This enhancement creates a faster, more modern way to send and receive data. We also added some new account level functionality to further eliminate the need to navigate away from Skience to service Pershing financial accounts:

  • Document upload from Skience to Pershing
  • Investor document download from Pershing to Skience
  • E-delivery instruction set-up
  • Ability to view the Pershing Balance, Transactions, and Positions on-demand in Skience

Skience Central

Registration Lines Parsing Rules have been added to the Data Integrations component of Skience Central. Administrators can choose to use the latest or a specific version of the Product Parsing Rules or upload local Rules. Administrators can configure Facts Processing and upload Facts from Data Providers, their Salesforce Org or add to Facts directly in Skience Central.

Black Diamond SSO

The Black Diamond Wealth Platform is a portfolio management system and Client reporting solution for financial advisors and wealth managers. Skience now offers a SAML SSO process in which you can Single Sign-On to the Black Diamond Wealth Platform. This is a non-contextual Single Sign-on, landing the user on the homepage at Black Diamond.

Skience Data Consolidation

DST and DAZL file feeds have been upgraded to the Data CaR 2.0 framework, and Registration Lines Parsing has been greatly enhanced. Knowledge-based parsing has been introduced and integrated with Salesforce and data files from custodians and clearing firms to identify persons and entities within the Salesforce Org. These names are considered as FACTS and are used to help parse the DST and DAZL registration information.
